National Certified Medical Office Assistant
(NCMOA)
Medical Office Assistants usually work in physician's
offices. They are usually considered front office staff and
primarily handle administrative duties. They are responsible for the
organization and ability to make the office function smoothly.
This training includes the following areas of study:

Microsoft Word 2007

Microsoft Excel 2003

Medical Terminology

Medical Transcription

Medical Billing & Coding

Law & Ethics, Insurance

Office Procedures

OSHA Regulations
Each student successfully completing all requirements
of the program will take the National Certified Medical Office
Assistant (NCMOA) exam and also take the Microsoft Office
Specialist (MOM) exams for MS Word and MS Excel Core levels.
